2025 KIA EV6 Debut

Updates for the 2025 KIA EV6 make it even more appealing to buyers. The 2025 model debuted at the LA Auto Show, giving fans their first look at this CUV. As the 2023 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, the EV6 has been turning heads since its debut three years ago.
Both the front and rear of the EV6 have been updated with new packages for the trims and premium features in the cabin. This all-electric model continues to add more amenities and features to wow customers.
New Style Updates
New headlights and daytime running lights feature the Star Map lighting, which is a signature look for KIA. The CUV features wing-like graphics to create a wider profile. Sharp angles are seen along the front bumper. The taillights also feature the same signature lighting with a wide rear bumper in a wing-like shape that brings the front and rear together. The sides have been updated slightly with more angled molding. You can choose between new wheel designs that range from 19 to 21 inches in size.
Star Map lighting has now been added to the cabin along with a D-shaped steering wheel. The center console has been updated with a new finish for a high-tech look. Curved dual 12.3-inch displays enhance the modern style.
Performance
KIA adds to the appeal of the 2025 KIA EV6 by increasing the size of the battery pack. The 63.0 kWh battery is paired with a rear motor for 167 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. You also have the 84.0 kWh battery that lasts up to 319 miles with RWD for 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. With the AWD and dual motors, you get up to 320 horsepower with 446 lb.-ft of torque. The EV6 GT takes that power up to 641 horses and 568 lb.-ft of torque, increased from the 2024 model year. The GT also boasts a new Virtual Gear Shift, which simulates shifting gears through sound effects.
The charge port for all models except the EV6 GT has been moved to the left rear fender. The EV6 includes an ultra-fast 800-volt DC charging system. KIA added sound absorption materials throughout the cabin to provide a quieter ride without outside noise. The frame was reinforced to meet safety standards from IIHS. The tow rating has also increased for this model with the long-range battery. You can now tow up to 2700 pounds and the system recognizes the added weight to adjust the numbers for distance to empty as you travel.
Technology
The operating system provides over-the-air updates to keep the EV6 powered by the latest software with faster processing. You can now enjoy music and video streaming, Wi-Fi hotspot, and gaming while personalizing the display theme. Digital Key 2.0 is also a new addition, which allows you to lock and unlock doors and drive the vehicle with a virtual key. Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Parking Distance Warning, and Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist have been added to help make parking a breeze.
