The base engine for both the K4 sedan and hatchback is a 2.0L four-cylinder, which provides up to 147 horsepower. You also have the option of a more powerful engine in the GT line turbo models, which produces up to 190 horsepower.
The KIA K4 is front-wheel drive only.
A 12.3-inch touch screen is standard for all trims of the KIA K4. You also get Digital Key 2, which allows you to use your smartphone in place of a standard key fob. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included with the K4.
The KIA K4 hatchback provides the most cargo space with 22.2 cubic feet of storage. The storage space expands to 59.3 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats down.
